Dont share the outrage for the new sponsor - sounds like a good deal all said to me

The shirt, well I am ild skool so dont like anything plastered over them, any ad' looks shit to me but needs must I guess

My favourite was the old Brighton shirt though, that NOBO logo, fuck me they took some uphill for those

He may not be here and even if he is Sullivan wouldn't allow him. He wouldn't let him sign anyone permanently on deadline day hence the number of players that turned loan moves/short-term contracts down inc Fletcher, Kaboul and Distin. The days of us throwing good money long-term at old duffers is finished.

Sam would spend that all on some clogger like Cattermole. It means nothing.

Look on the brightside. It gives us another 60k per week to add to the wage bill next season. More money = better players coming in here.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
20m over 42 months, just a tad under 6m a year and double our last deal. Gives us the 8th best shirt sponsorship deal in the PL so a move in the right direction regardless of how shit it will look on the shirt for the remainder of the season.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
I know we are looking at Everton so I checked the accounts basically they had only 5m more turnover than us

That's with 13m more in broadcasting basically we already blow them out the water without the OS....

I understand that the length is maybe a bit strange but we don't know the ins and outs... Everton has a ten year deal be renegotiate every couple of years

The Umbro is still uncertain an we don't know the true amount yet... I reckon first year of os we will be within a whisker of spurs in turnover and if we keep investing and add consistently in the league then these contracts are only going one way...

I prefer this slowly improving than quick fixes... Let's be honest first year in the OS we will be around 15th richest club in the world but money don't mean anything if we don't have the quality on the pitch

They would have known about this deal for sometime. People are now suggesting Alpari went bust at 2pm on the Wednesday and betway turned up with 4m and a few stikers on Thursday.

It was a comment on Huffers, who I suspect has posted accurate information.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
I'm not saying they won't, I'm saying it takes time.

The players can't have different shirts because no-one would buy the old ones.

The Club can't just throw away X thousand shirts.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
If Adidas won't provide new kits, then we shouldn't have signed a contract for a company to provide our kits than allows them not to provide our kits.

In addition, signing a contract taking us into the new stadium seems bizarre given the claim that the new stadium would raise our profile and therefore make us more marketable.

I don't think the club look strong in this. I don't think competing with Sunderland on a commercial basis is something to be proud of.

Gav, I haven't mentioned shirt sale method of Newcastle, but go ahead and make things up, if it helps you. I'm off to mix with my fellow middle managers.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
You do realise that the owner of sports direct owns Newcastle

They have a very fav deal between each other is prob why they get a better kit and sponsorship deal.... But again we are talking they earn 1-2m a year max more
